Dues Banquet

This was our most exciting activity so far! Full of ceremony, roses, delicious food and our own personal boy band. All the new pledges were presented with their Lamba Delta Sigma necklace (hoorah!) and told us what they would be contributing to Tau. We got a variety of answers, from humor to love to music to friendship. Everyone had something to offer.

And of course, the food. It was to die for. A big thanks goes out to Chloe's mom for all the time and effort she put in to this night. It was a great success. Thanks again. And as we ate and chatted, a magical thing happened. A gaggle of boys appeared on a magic carpet and serenaded us with "A Whole New World." Thanks guys!

And then came dessert accompanied by some roses from yet another fraternity. We must be the most spoiled sorority at the U! And of course, here is the classic portrait of us all. Aren't we gorgeous? Feel free to fawn.

Knitting Night

Apparently our chapter is just full of surprises. As the resident knitting obsessive (this is Heather, btw) I was impressed by how many girls picked up knitting without any trouble. Tory was able to complete a gorgeous scarf for Ken by the end of the night. I'm sure it will become the new trend for all Barbie men from now on.

And if any of you missed this activity and still want to learn, just ask me! I would be happy to have a personal knitting night outside our normal activities. Or if you just want some free yarn. I'm always good for that. Happy knitting everyone! Oh and the hot cocoa and doughnuts were delicious!

Exchange with Nu

Hoorah for exchanges! The evening was full of chips and soda and games. Leslie brought the highly popular Werewolves game (a super-exciting and extra-thrilling version of your tradition Mafia). It was a bit chaotic with so may players (about thirty five I think!) but we had a bunch of fun all the same. And I know for a fact that at least one girl got a date out of this activity. It does happen ladies. Keep coming! And many thanks to Nu for providing the food.

Soul to Sole Connection

It is amazing how much our shoes tell about us. We have such a variety of shoes (and girls) in Tau. We have your classic heels, your flip flops, your comfy working shoes, your outrageous I-can't-believe-you-can-walk-in-these shoes, our very own shoe artist (you rock Anika!) and more. Our chapter more than doubled from last semester. Thanks so much for choosing Tau girls!

Rush

As you can see, in Tau we all take Rush very seriously. It was a fun night. We met so many girls and were so pleased with how many later joined our chapter. Nice dress Emma!

As some of you may or may not know we are now a Thursday Night Chapter!
