Okay, so not quite like toga, but close. I mean come on we're not greek!

So maybe I'm just insane.



Anywhoo...



We're doing Yoga this week. It'll give us a nice chance to stretch out and maybe relax a bit before finals or last minute christmas prep or whatever is going on in our lives.


Don't forget about Winter Formal. Tickets are $10 and you need to pay before the dance. We hope to see you all there. Dance starts at 8 at capital hill. and dinner is at the Spaghetti factory at trolley square.

Wednesday the 19th

Hiya,

So sorry I haven't updated recently - life gets stressful sometimes.

Anyways I lost my camera so I wasn't able to obtain any pictures from our 'sweet' game of pudding pictionary. It was a lot of fun. Thank you Nu boys for the activity.

This week we are going to the 8 cow woman pageant hosted by Mu. It will be a lot of fun for anyone that wants to participate - or even just watch for that case.

Make sure you show up at 6:45 for tasty tau.

Have a great Rivalry week and remember to donate food.

Also, This Friday is Battle of the Chapters. Bring $3, canned food, and dress like a nerd. This activity will be a blast so make sure you come!

Wednesday Nov. 12th

Just so you know this Wednesday is an exchange with Nu (I think it's Nu it could be a different frat though). It's gonna be a blast. So come and join right in the fun!

Sisterhood Week

Hey Girls,

Tonight is the Sisterhood Fireside. It'll be given by Miss Utah. The fireside is going to be wonderful so make sure you come and don't miss out.

P.S. Isn't this snow just beautiful!

Also, the TCU game starts at 6:00 not at 7:00 like I had said last week. So don't forget the BLACKOUT!

Battle of the chapters

So we started the battle a few weeks ago with the clothing drive.

We earned a lovely loaf of bread. mmmmm....yummy

Downtown Dining with Tau

Hey Tau-ers!

So this week we had the Downtown dining with Tau activity. We each brought a dish that meant something special to us.

We had a lot of fun socializing and eating our food. We even had a few visitors and people we haven't seen in a long time. But, there are still a lot of girls we haven't seen in a while. We miss you all and hope that you can stop in soon so we can catch up with you. Just know that we love every Tau girl.

If you have any big announcements or things coming up in your life (birthday, concert, etc.) please let us know. We would love to support each and everyone of you in your endeavors.

Also, make sure you come this week. We have an exchange with the new fraternity Sigma and we are learning to do Halloween scary make-up. We would love to have everyone come and show the boys how spectacular of a sorority we really are.

How to survive ..... your car

So last week we had a nice activity with Brian and Tyler Everyll from Master Muffler helping us learn all about cars.

I think we all had a good time asking questions and getting new knowledge!

P.S. We had a special visitor. Shahnaz! We miss you, but are very glad you are happily married.

Update

Hey,

I heard that this past weeks activity was a nice testimony building experience, especially right before conference. Wasn't conference just amazing? It's always nice to hear words of wisdom and encouragement from our Prophet.

So this week is going to be full of learning new things. We are going to learn........

Banquet

Wow, the Carmelle was absolutely beautiful!

The talks were uplifting.

The food was amazing!

and I think we all enjoyed having a chance to sit around and get to know each other.

Retreat

Make sure that you have paid your dues ($30 for actives and $35 for pledges).

We're meeting at the Institute at 6:00 to carpool down to the reception hall. Please wear a dress, and pledges remember your golden 24.

Tau Presidency

'Purs'onality night

This week was a lot of fun!

It was 'Purs'onality night. Everyone brought a purse with three items in it.

The first item represented the past; an accomplishment or something we were proud of completing.

The second item represented the present; something we are currently working on.

The third item represented the future; a goal we want in the future.

Next week will be a blast. We're meeting in our room at 7:00. Hollie has planned a great activity for us!

First Week Back

Welcome back,

So this week we had a good activity. We made quote books to go along with our scholarship ideal during devotional. Also, we went through the different parts of the devotional. The mood was pretty kicked back and relaxed as we used our creativity. We also got a chance to chat with each other getting to catch up on summer activities and getting to know the new pledges.

Next week, don't forget to bring your purses for our 'purs'onality night. We have some great things planned and we hope to see everyone there. In case you don't know bring a purse with something from the past, present, and future in it.

Carnival

Hey!

So it is that time of year again. The end of summer has appeared bringing with it lots of fun, this time I'm not talking about football. I'm talking about the bonds of Sisterhood in Tau. Of course, the summer break didn't keep up from having occasional fun together. But, the fall allows us to have weekly fun together.

This week we started RUSH. I think a lot of us had fun talking to all the new pledges. Our skit went well and we had fun talking for hours about Tau.

We had the opportunity of meeting some of our wonderful pledges Thursday night. I think we all had fun getting to know each other playing the question ball game (I'm not sure what to really call it).

The Carnival was great later Thursday night. We participated in a lot of fun activities, everything from bowling for bugs, chugging fish, and dancing for milkshakes.

I'm sure the fireside on Sunday night was amazing, as always. I'll see you all on Wednesday for our next activity. :)
